Rug Pad

Whitaker’s rug pad is 1/4 inch thick, for indoor use and compatible with all types of flooring. Order it through an approved resale trade account for any wool, natural fiber or indoor/outdoor area rug that will be used indoors.

How to size the pad

The pad is 2 inches shorter than the rug in total length and 2 inches shorter in total width. Subtract 2 inches once from each overall rug dimension.

For example, a rug measuring 8 feet by 10 feet takes a pad measuring 7 feet 10 inches by 9 feet 10 inches. Centered beneath that rug, the pad sits approximately 1 inch inside each edge.

Use this pad indoors only, including when the rug above it comes from the indoor/outdoor collection. Follow the rug-pad maintenance instructions in the Care Guide.
