Browse Whitaker’s custom area rugs: wool, natural fiber (sisal, jute and seagrass) and indoor/outdoor styles in polypropylene and P.E.T. Select a style, choose custom dimensions and serging or binding, and order through an approved designer or retailer account for resale.
Choose the material for the setting first. Wool is soft underfoot, warm in the room and made to last, and it resists stains and wear on its own. The natural fiber rugs are indoor only: sisal for a crisp, hard-wearing weave, jute for the softest hand, seagrass for a smooth, stain-resistant surface. The indoor/outdoor rugs shrug off weather, spills and heavy traffic and can be cleaned with a hose. Edisto and Nantucket are P.E.T. (polyethylene terephthalate) and the other indoor/outdoor rugs are polypropylene.
Every rug is made to order in any size up to 13 by 40 feet, Serged to Match by default or bound in cotton or Sunbrella, and finished in Charleston. Nine standard stock sizes are also available.
Approved trade customers can order up to five rug swatches free of charge, with $10 shipping, or order the complete sample package with rug swatches, binding samples and a brochure. Shipping for the complete package is also $10.
