Wool

Whitaker’s wool collection is a range of wool area rugs made to custom dimensions with a choice of serging or binding, for approved designers and retailers buying for resale. Natural wool brings a depth and comfort synthetics cannot match: soft underfoot, warm in the room, and made to keep its character for decades rather than seasons. It resists stains and wear on its own.

Compare the Archdale options in Coffee, Ivory and Silver, or Wentworth in Sand and Sky. Other wool styles include Gadsden, Hanover, Legare, Montagu and Nassau. Review the swatches with the room’s flooring and upholstery before choosing the rug and its edge. Wool is a separate collection from Whitaker’s natural fiber range of sisal, jute and seagrass, so compare swatches from both if the project is open to either.

Every wool rug is made to order in any size up to 13 by 40 feet, Serged to Match by default or bound in cotton or Sunbrella, and finished in Charleston. Nine standard stock sizes are also available.

Approved trade customers can order up to five rug swatches free of charge, with $10 shipping. Wool care is simple: vacuum with suction only, never a beater bar, and blot spills at once.
