Jute Rugs

Whitaker’s jute collection is a range of four natural fiber area rugs for indoor use only: Lanai Jute, Lanai Diamond, Pebble Beach and Sanibel. Jute brings warmth and an easy, natural look to bedrooms, living rooms and low moisture spaces, with a relaxed, organic texture. It is the softest of the natural fibers underfoot. Each rug can be ordered in custom dimensions with a choice of serging or binding.

Compare the four styles with swatches. Place the shortlisted rug beside the flooring to judge the surface and edge together. If the project needs a harder-wearing natural fiber, compare sisal or seagrass swatches in the same review.

Every jute rug is made to order in any size up to 13 by 40 feet, Serged to Match by default or bound in cotton or Sunbrella, and finished in Charleston. Nine standard stock sizes are also available.

Read the natural fiber instructions in the Care Guide before ordering: vacuum on low suction with no beater bar, in the direction of the weave, and blot spills at once, because natural fiber is susceptible to staining. Jute is not for a covered porch or any other outdoor setting.

Approved trade customers can order up to five rug swatches free of charge, with $10 shipping. For a shaped cut, send a dimensioned plan using the custom rug guide. Whitaker sells strictly to approved designers and retailers for resale. Direct purchases for personal use are not permitted. Whitaker orders usually ship in 3–5 weeks. Transit time is additional.
